Model for success Our focus is to support our young members to become the best versions of themselves through philanthropy. In addition, we look at how we can mentor Jewish professionals into being great in all areas of their lives. We’ve identified six key components of a successful young Jewish leader and how they come together to support our growing community. As such, the Osher Model for Success seeks to provide a 360 mentorship approach to our members in ALL aspects of who they are and who they want to become.
Tzedaka Tzedaka represents the commitment to giving back and supporting others through acts of charity and justice. By encouraging members to engage in Tzedaka, we foster a sense of responsibility to uplift those in need, thereby strengthening the fabric of our community. This component focuses on cultivating generosity and ethical responsibility as integral aspects of personal and professional growth.
Community We emphasize the importance of building strong, interconnected relationships within the Jewish community. This component focuses on mentoring members to actively participate in and contribute to their communities, helping them understand that their personal success is intertwined with the well-being and growth of the collective. By nurturing a sense of belonging and collaboration, we aim to create a supportive environment where everyone can thrive.
Business The Business component of the Osher Model for Success aims to mentor Jewish professionals in their careers, guiding them to excel in their chosen fields while upholding the values of integrity, ethics, and social responsibility. This component supports members in developing their professional skills, creating successful enterprises, and navigating the complexities of the business world, all while ensuring that their work contributes positively to society. Social The Social component focuses on the development of meaningful relationships and the cultivation of a strong social network. By mentoring members in their social interactions, we help them build connections that are based on mutual respect, understanding, and shared values. This component emphasizes the importance of maintaining a balanced and fulfilling social life, which contributes to overall happiness and success.
Spiritual Spiritual growth is a key component of the Osher Model for Success. This component mentors members in exploring and deepening their spiritual practices, helping them connect with their inner selves and their faith. By fostering spiritual development, we aim to support members in finding purpose, meaning, and direction in their lives, which in turn enhances their overall well-being and success. Wellness Wellness in the Osher Model for Success encompasses physical, mental, and emotional health. This component mentors members in adopting healthy habits, managing stress, and achieving a balanced lifestyle. By prioritizing wellness, we help members build resilience and maintain the energy and focus needed to pursue their personal and professional goals.
